About Gray Station Dental

Under the direction of Richard Turner, DMD, who completed a fellowship with the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, Gray Station Dental enjoys a reputation as one of the most trusted oral care facilities in northeast Tennessee. The practice provides individuals with routine and advanced services alike, and Dr. Turner endeavors to offer them the most effective treatments possible by leveraging state-of-the-art imaging and operating equipment. Gray Station Dental also strives to increase patients’ level of comfort by featuring televisions in the operating rooms.

Basic procedures at Gray Station Dental include regular cleanings and checkups; Dr. Turner supplements these services by instructing individuals on effective techniques for keeping their teeth and gums healthy while at home. For those looking to improve the appearance of their smile and to attain a renewed sense of confidence, he can fit them with white fillings, porcelain veneers and caps, bridges, and crowns. In addition, he offers several teeth-whitening options, such as the popular Zoom! system. Other services include Invisalign, dental implants, laser periodontal surgery, gum disease treatment and maintenance, and much more.

Dr. Turner, a native of Kentucky, earned his Bachelor’s degree from Morehead State University in 1992. Several years later, he completed his formal dental training at the University of Louisville. He continues to keep current with advances in his profession through educational offerings from professional organizations such as the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Tennessee Dental Association. He also remains a registered member of CerecDoctors.com. When not treating patients at Gray Station Dental, he enjoys a number of recreational activities, including riding motorcycles, hiking, flying, and target shooting.
